My Story
Thank you for stopping by my website.
A little about me — I’m from Dublin, Ireland. My professional background is in personal training, a career that has taken me around the world. I’ve worked in gyms across cities in the U.K., Australia, Singapore, and Japan. After living in Tokyo for four years and meeting my now-wife, we decided to move back to Dublin in 2024, where we are currently based.
My art journey began when I was young. I was a creative kid who loved to paint and draw. After taking a break for several years, I picked up a pencil again in 2018, when I was living in Singapore. I would spend hours visiting different cafés around the city, drawing anything and everything. After a couple of years, I felt inspired to start painting — all thanks to the one and only Bob Ross. I've experimented with different mediums but always return to acrylics because of their quick-drying nature.
I’ve been painting consistently over the past five years. However, 2024 wasn’t a great year creatively. I felt lost and wasn’t enjoying the process. I knew I wanted to make a change, but I wasn’t sure what direction to take. After some experimentation, I discovered the work of painter Hannah Webb (@Theobanoth), who I credit with inspiring my latest style. I’m no longer interested in painting realistically. Instead, I aim to capture the personality of the subject using bold brushmarks, and vibrant colours.
Dont hestitate to reach out if you like my artwork, I'd love to connect.
